12vhpwr adapter cable

i have a 3080 ti, but just got the 5080, i know like the 40s they use the 12vhpwr cable, but i have a issue i want to use my Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 Triple 8 Pin cable but im not sure if using the 5080 included 12vhpwr adapter cable with it is safe? it has to be safer than the Lian Li Strimer...
