BENQ XL2411 MONITOR i just got display port 1.2 CONNECTED WITH DVI-D and i cant set 144hz how to fix this?

I have an Acer laptop E5-476G-54U3 with a 60 Hz TN display I'm planning to buy an external monitor whiches ASUS VG249Q or AOC 24g2 with their 144 Hz refresh rate Will I get to maximize the refresh rate output (144 Hz)? I'm also planning to buy a 75 Hz monitor if it couldn't, will it work?

So I found a deal for these second hand monitors, found them at 120€ from different sellers, I’m trying to decide on which to get but, I heard that Benq is better in every aspect, but Acer one is curved, which i’m a succer. I just need to know which one would be the best bang for buck in this...

GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1650 Super Monitor: Samsung Curved 24" 60hz I planning to buy a new 144hz monitor but my games running only from 50 to 75 fps on High Settings 1080p. Is there a difference in visuals if i use 144hz monitor even if i get only 50 to 75 fps on games?or should i stick to 60hz...
