144hz to 60

When I'm not playing a game my monitor is set to 144hz but when I switch to a game such as Minecraft my Hz goes back to 60hz. I've tried everything including reinstalling my gpu drivers. I even tried resetting my monitor and changing the wire. It has worked for the past 3 months and all of a...
