Hi Tom's Will there be anything wrong with buying the MSI gtx 1070 and use it in Asus z170 pro gaming motherboard?

Im using AI Suite 3 to overclock my 4670k cpu, achieved 4.2ghz but end up frame drops while playing games. How can i overclock without having this problem, should i do manually? my pc spec. -4670k -Asus z97-A -Hyper 212 cpu cooler -2x4GB 1600 memory -WD 1tb black -GTX770 -CM 650w -windows 7
