    Question Need information on if this would work or not

    I have a Asus x470-f motherboard and Ryzen 5 3600x cpu my issue is that my PSU only has ONE 4 pin connector for the CPU and my motherboard CPU slot is a 8 pin, would I still be able to use my current powersupply by connecting the 4 pin into the 8 pin slot and having half of it empty?
