    [SOLVED] 12 pin motherboard

    Hi, I found an old Acer with a 12 pin motherboard connector and was wondering if I could use two 6 pin pci cables instead of buying an adapter. Trying to build my brother a computer. The Acer contains a i5 4440 and was going to put a rx 570 in it. Thanks

    [SOLVED] I want to upgrade my CPU as I get a lot of bottleneck but I can't update my BIOS. Is it worth the risk to update anyway?

    CPU = Pentium Dual Core E5700, GPU = GTX 960 2GB, MOBO = Acer Veriton M275, RAM = 8GB at 800mhz. I have a Pentium Dual-Core E5700 and want to upgrade to an Intel Core2Duo E8500. My BIOS version does not show up anywhere I look and I can't find an update for it that supports Windows 10. Also...
