Annoying Problem

I have a top of the line sound card, i have a Razer Seiren Pro therefor the horrible mic quality of the Tiamat does not effect this decision. I want to know two things, overall is the Tiamat better for audio quality even though it is older? and does it have better surround sound than the Kraken...
