    how many platters are on these hdd's

    i am curious because i've been reading more platters more likely to fail http://gyazo.com/a49598b206211ee7bca6afc30565793b i want to know if there are anymore platters on the 2TB to 3TB version because I ordered the 3 and then learned about the whole failure rate thing and whats the difference...
