audio-technica at2020

I have an Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ microphone, and I just noticed that there is a microphone driver for it, which is normal... but then I also noticed that there is a headphone driver as well. I use separate headphones (Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO ), but why does the microphone come with playback...
