I’m seeking insight, I have cracked the gpu chip on my laptop motherboard, I’m going to get the chip replaced using a bga workstation and was wonder what if I used the 1070 chip instead of 1060. Will it work?

When I move RAM stick to second block Fan stays on, so i think it's CPU problem somehow. BIOS...
So I'm pretty curious on this one. I've had this thing for a while and it's been great. Have it overclocked to a stable 3.8Ghz
So with my current overclock in stand, how does that hold up to the current CPUs out there now? (Is trying to squeeze every bit of life out of it)
