I have a very old UPS whose future home is a shiny trash can. I am assuming the led-acid assembly will have lost all its value but the electrical circuitry which manages voltages can still be put to use in normal AC power circuits as a voltage regulator or trip-fuse setup? Any ideas appreciated.
