CD/DVD drive

I am running Windows 10 on a HP Computer. The DVD Drive will only show the "F" Drive and not the "D"Drive. After inserting a proper CD or DVD the door opens and says "Insert CD/DVD". Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
