My laptop keyboard keeps repeating num+ after a spill and i cant log on to my laptop even with an external keyboard it still repeats num+

I moved my setup across the room from the router which caused me to switch Ethernet cables to a longer one. It doesn't get recognized unless I change the speed and duplex to 10Mbps half duplex for some reason. This gives me much worse internet speed than I had before. Any help?

Hello, I did a repair re-install using Window Xp the installation was going great but then got stuck at 39 min. So aborted. Then put cd in and tried to restart it again then it reboots and comes to a blue screen and states setup being restarted and goes to black screen with cursor in the middle.
