Connectors and motherboard socket
Hi, I've just bought a new case, the Antec NX360 which comes with 3 aRGB fans at the front. They're daisy-chained and meant to connect to the motherboard, however the only connectors (other than the aRGB - which I've plugged into the rainbow1 port) are SATA...
I want to do Push-Pull with the 3 fans from my Z73 360mm RGB AND 3 Corsair QL-120.
I was wondering if I could buy three 2-way PWM splitter and connect the corsair fans along with the nxzt fans, into the PWM connectors that come out from the NZXT pump head (I don't want to use the motherboard...
aside from overclocking stability, what is the purpose of daisy-chaining in motherboards with four (4) RAM slots? is it cheaper to make the traces that way? or more RAM is still better in most use cases rather than stability?
