I have just bought the crucial 3200mhz 16GBx2 ram installed them in the correct slots. They are in dual channel according too cpu z. However it says they support xmp 2 but when i go into the bios only 1 xmp...
So I have been having problems with my ram when I turn on XMP in my bios, I just now checked my compatibilities for my RAM of the Motherboard on their website and I am using ram sticks that are not compatible with it.
Would this be the cause of the issue? I don't want to waste money on buying...
I wonder why after tightening timings makes my PC freeze & less responsive, sometimes without any error in Memtest86 Pro in 6 passes with no error ? ( but having better benchmark).
(I use gear 2 so the latency is more than 60ns)
