fans run after shutdown

Yesterday when I shutdown my PC, it shutdown normally, but I then noticed the CPU and case fans never stopped running. My screen goes black after I shutdown and my monitor says no input found that indicates the PC has shutdown. The wierd thing is that as soon as the PC has shutdown the fans...
