    Question Is it ok to remove a GPU I/O shield?

    Hello, I'm trying to vertically mount my MSI RX 7900 XTX GPU but the I/O shield is preventing me from fitting it in. See picture below: View: https://imgur.com/a/xu3oBCq Is it safe to remove this shield or is it necessary to keep it on for stability?
