greyscale

Hi, I need an app to convert +3000 greyscale mode images to RGB mode in order to apply my effects. I tried Photoshop batch convert seems it can only convert from RGB to greyscale, greyscale to RGB won't work. tried some other apps to add a bit of color to every image (not too much), mode...
