    I got a 3.5 and 2.5mm HDD and an ssd with OS, since I added the 2.5 which I took from an external hard drive the vibrations became a lot more intense because is as big as an ssd and by installing it where an ssd was supposed to be there isn't any rubber support for vibrations unlike the 3.5mm...

    [SOLVED] Intermittent grinding noise, do I have a drive about to die?

    Question Hard Drive vibrates a lot.

    So, I have a Toshiba DT01ACA100 Hard drive. And one thing that I've noticed is how my case is really starting to vibrate quite a lot. I checked every other component I have and the narrowed it down to the HDD. So, how come a single HDD gives off more vibration than the entire rest of the case...
