headphones are quiet

When I plug my headphones in the back panel of the PC, The sound is too quiet even when my volume is 100%. I tried plugging my headphones in front panel, The sounds are loud but there is poor audio quality. Is there any way to get the same volume when it is plugged in the back panel?
