    cutting 4pin gpu fan to replace it with a new fan

    I had msi r9 280 gpu, it has dual fan as for the twin frozr iv cooling system. One of the fan need to be replace. Can I cut its 4 pin cable and joining it with a new one (also 4 pin)?
