io sheild

So I recently purchased parts for my first computer build and started building it everything was going fine until I went to install the Io Shield in the case No matter how I try I Am not able to place the Io Shield in its required position There is this strange design of the case which is...

So my motherboard is a b-360 h gaming that comes with the io shield pre-installed to the motherboard. My case is a CMT-510 by fsp. For some reason, im having a lot of trouble snapping the io sheild into place and idk if somthing is wrong or I just cant.
