iobit software

I just uninstalled Iobit Driverbooster from my pc as i had forgotten how annoying that software was. For some reason it has completely deleted my firefox data including beloved bookmarks. I have fiddled with syncing it to my mac recently so i have no backups or anything like that. Is there a way...

I did some research on the web about IOBit software and from what I've heard, it's considered malware and will mess up your system. Is this true at all? I've used Advanced SystemCare, DriverBooster, Uninstaller, and Software Updater and have had no issues with it at all.
