    Question Laptop turns on but has black screen, no picture on external display either, is motherboard likely dead ?

    Laptop model: Lenovo Ideapad 330s (I believe the specific model number is 81FB00HKUS) The laptop does seem to turn on (I can hear the fan starting up), but it has a black screen. The laptop power button LED lights turn on, however Capslock and Numlock LED lights DO NOT turn on. What I've tried...

    [SOLVED] Erratic keyboard behaviour on Lenovo laptop ?
