monitoring tab in bios

Hi all, What is the purpose of the 'CPU temperature LED switch' with an ON/OFF toggle under the 'monitoring' tab in the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme UEFI? I can't seem to find any information about it by searching the internet and there's nothing mentioned in the user manual. :unsure:
