no battery found

The issue is with an Asus C300SA Chromebook. It cannot recognize that there's a battery installed. When I run the command battery_firmware info on Crosh, I get the message "Battery version 0 is not supported." When I run the command battery_firmware check I get 4 lines with the same message...
