Hello everyone.
I have an Aorus B450 Elite motherboard and an NVME that I forgot its brand name; anyway, it was working completely fine for the past ~year and a half until yesterday when I had to install another hard disk to work on it, so I removed the NVME to avoid any issues. Unfortunately...
My NVMe drive is showing in BIOS but when I try to install windows it says "No devices found". Please help me get rid of the issue.

When I try to copy files from one place of the SSD to another one, it seems really slow for what the SSD is capable of. I am wondering if this is normal behaviour or if there is something wrong.
I am using a 4TB KC3000 M2 SSD.
File tranfer seems slow?
Would this B660 motherboard support RAID of 2x NVME drives? I see under the specs it does support RAID, but I am not sure if it is for SATA drives only or NVME drives as well.

I bought a slightly used (100 hours) Samsung PM961 NVMe SSD. Then I bought a Vantec external enclosure for it. Since my laptop does not have USB-C ports, I expected the performance to max-out USB 3.0. But no, the performance is worse than an HDD in an external enclosure. And sometimes the SSD...
Hello everyone. As the title says, I will be building a PC (for the first time in my life) primarily for music production/sound work and occasionally some light/amateur Photoshop (not including basic everyday tasks like browsing obviously). For the past month I've been intensively informing...
I saw a similar topic but I think I'm supposed to start a new thread.

I have FOUR other hard drives which DO SHOW in Windows 10 and I use them...
I got a Ramsta M.2 NVMe SSD sata from someone, and the problem is, my computer doesn't have any nvme slot in the motherboard cause its an old desktop. I wonder if there is a way to convert this nvme to sata? I know that I will lose lots of bandwidth but its better than having an old HDD. If...

I have a Corsair MP510 (250 G) where I installed Windows (my MB is an aorus B450M), and I bought a WD Black SN770 (1 T), but since i have no more M2 bays in my MB I had yo buy a PCIE (4x) adapter for my NVME.
The idea was to install the booting SSD on the adapter and the...

I was running my board in Intel raid mode and getting 2500MBs on my m.2 drive but I switched it to AHCI and formatted the drive and reinstalled windows, now it's only getting around 800MBs. I can't figure out what's going on with it. No hardware has been changed or switched around. Literally...
My friends ssd is no longer being found as a boot device or at all in the bios. I've swapped the ports and still nothing. I've updated bios and still nothing. The ssd is a team group one and it's only been used for about 2 months. But it was working perfectly fine. She left for a few days and...

If my NVMe drive is configured correctly, wouldn't the mb list it as found instead of saying "No NVMe Device Found" in BIOS? It does show up as a RAID device however.

I have ASUS B450M Pro II Motherboard with Ryzen 5 3600 CPU running on it, I am looking for the best (and hopefully budget friendly) NVME M.2 SSD that would work most efficiently with my setup. I am new with computer components so forgive me for not knowing if this is basic stuff.
I am using Intel 4790K with Asus Z97 PRO Gamer MB. Previously I was using Samsung 850 EVO. Recently I upgraded to Crucial P2 NVME SSD.
After the upgrade, I noticed that PC performance is decreased hugely. It takes 10X time to boot or shut down.
May anyone help me in this regard?
hi.
the concept of M.2 is a little confusing to me.
i know the difference between M.2 SATA (is it always B+M key?) and M.2 NVMe (always M key?)
and if NVMe is backwards compatible with SATA since i can put SATA to such M.2 slot due to extra pin that is there in Nvme M2 slot?
i have a Lenovo...
I'm planning on purchasing the Samsung EVO 970 PLUS 500GB M.2 2280 NVMe drive, I tried googling but there are conflicting reports. Here's a picture of my laptops m.2 slot I'd really appreciate if you could help me identify whether it supports the Samsung EVO 970 PLUS 500GB M.2 NVME 2280 drive
Hi yall! I've been trying to fix this problem for a little while now and have no idea what is causing it. Created an account just to ask this so hopefully someone knows what's going on.
So my computer has stopped booting off of my NVMe SSD whenever the HDD is connected. It gives me that "insert...
Hey!
I am trying to boot from my intel 660p M.2 NVME but when I install it into my motherboard, BIOS doesn't launch. When I boot without it installed, BIOS works fine, until I insert it again, which then freezes BIOS. This SSD has windows 10 installed and worked in my previous PC, which I...

I’ve had this Intel 665p M.2 NVME SSD installed for around 2 years now. Had no problems installing it and setting it up. Ran flawlessly since then. Windows isnt installed on this drive, I use it as an additional drive strictly for games. Recently however I turned on my pc and found that windows...
Looking for a sanity check. I've been building my own PCs for 20 years and working in IT the past 10 years. I've specced and built 100s of desktops for clients, so I'm not new to building PCs, ensuring compatibility and such, but I'm running into a problem that has me gaslighting myself while...
I was playing a game and then suddenly my pc froze, so i just restarted it, but i had black screen for few minutes, then it launched bios and my M.2 SSD was no longer detected in bios.I have tried different options in the BIOS settings, though i might missed something. I tried putting the ssd to...

I've been getting constant BSODs for the past 3 days after around 2-30 mins of usage. Not sure what seems to be triggering it because sometimes, I could just stay idle and it'll crash on its own. It crashes in Safe Mode as well.
Did chkdsk, dism, sfc, ran memtest86 (8 passes 0 errors)...
Hello, I am building my first PC with the main purpose of using it for 3D Animation (modelling, rigging, animation and a bit of rendering), and a secondary purpose of some gaming and am looking at which components will fit me best. I'm very new to this so have been doing some research and for my...
