overclocking not applying

Hey there! I recently got my new RAM kit and tried overclocking it. But now, whenever I try to overclock the RAM frequency it just tells me that it is still at 2133Mhz even though it is set to 3000Mhz. Does anyone know why this could be the case? I am using HWInfo and CPUZ to show my ram...
