Photoshop CS6

Doing a new PC build which is predominantly aimed at Photoshop CS6 use, i.e. I don't game. I am tossing up between the NVIDIA GT 1030 and the NVIDIA GTX 1050 TI. I just purchased an AMD RX590 card as my old card self destructed. Today I go to use Photoshop, open an image, add a text layer, duplicate that layer, drag it to another part of the image, and then as soon as I click the text tool to edit the text, Photoshop crashes, every time. Tried rebooting...

I gave my computer to my son and we changed the username to his. He created his own password. Everything was working great. We turned the computer on the next day and it did some updating and changed the username to Kiosk and cannot enter a password as nothing works?
