quad 2 core extreme

I have Q8400 and GT610 with 6gb ddr3 ram. So, What my problem is that sometimes it turns on and works peacefully but sometimes shuts down randomly and the hdd doesn't read and makes some noise. But when i turn off the pc and give a pat on the hdd it works fine. This started happening again...
