The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.
When the CPU is idle, the CPU temps are constantly changing between 34C and 58C. This is very annoying as it causes the fan to constantly speed up...

I currently own a x470 aorus ultra gaming motherboard with a 2700x cpu in it, however im wanting to upgrade to a ryzen 9 3950x.
Will my x470 aorus ultra gaming suffice for the 3950x (I know it does for the 3900x) or do I need an upgrade? If so what would you advice me?
