samsung ssd problems

Current machine is 8 years old - won't run W11. Designing a new one. Currently using Samsung EVO drives - never had a problem. Want to go to a 990 PRO PCIe® 4.0 NVMe® SSD 2TB" Have seen many discussions about problems with these drives. Have they been fixed??? - Thanks for your input - Marty
