    [SOLVED] Samsung T5 SSD has super low transfer speeds.

    I just got a Samsung T5 external SSD and it says it should reach up to 540Mb/s yet when I try to transfer files to it from my internal hard drive which has a speed of around 420 Mb/s I get a top transfer speed of only 20Mb/s. I have the SSD plugged into a USB 3.0 port and the device is 3.0...

    [SOLVED] External storage for Macbook Pro

    I have a Macbook Pro 2019 and want to have an external storage for it. I will be using it for storage and copying files back and forth from it to the macbook. Is the Samsung T5 1TB enough for my use case or should I buy a Thunderbolt 3 M.2 SSD enclosure and pair it with a 970 EVO PLUS 1TB?

    [SOLVED] External SSD Samsung T5 slow speeds?

    Hello. I bought a 500GB external SSD - Samsung T5. It says it supports speeds up to 540MB/s. I have tried to transfer large video file on two different laptops(Dell 3552 and Acer aspire s7), but on both I get 22MB/sec write and about 40MB/sec read. We even tried to transfer file to phone...
