    Question Issue with screen tearing when using laptop with external monitor ?

    I'm having an issue with a monitor I recently purchased. It's an Acer B247W 24" 1920x1200 monitor and I have it hooked up to my laptop via HDMI, which is an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-51). Using the below video as a test, I get bad screen tearing on the monitor, but only under certain circumstances...

    [SOLVED] Screen tearing on a 144hz monitor with 150-160 fps ?
