    [SOLVED] Metallic tape in laptops

    Hi. I'm replacing the screen in my laptop. My question is this. On one of the connectors there's a kind of tape. It looks like its' woven from metallic wire. I've tried posting a picture but it's site won't let me. It's silver to look at and tightly woven. Can anyone help?
