Does anybody cares about wifi speed when choosing a mobo? Can anybody use wifi to connect when downloading drivers for a pc or anything like that? What's the benefit of wifi in case if I am using just an Ethernet cable during gaming or benchmarking?

I have a AMD FX4.2Ghz Quad core processor & want to change it to a FX8350 octo core for smoother running of GTA V. ? What are your thoughts on my CPU change choice, as can not use anything faster so going back to 4Ghz with 4.2Ghx turbo is my solution ? Thanks in advance Jon
