ssd enclosure

I want to use an m.2 nvme ssd as an external drive. I bought this enclosure and a 2TB drive. Question: are there any settings I should look out for when formatting the drive for external use? Thanks.

Hello, I am interested in buying this M.2 enclosure to make an external ssd. On the datasheet it says that it is limited to 2TB of capacity. Is that really the case and if it is, how/why is it limited? Thanks.
