I had an old 6850 GPU that died and i purchased an RX 580. I have a 750W PSU that has 2x6 pin connectors that were used to power the 6850. The RX 580 requires 1x8 pin connector to power it, my question is can i use a single 6 to 8 pin adaptor, or will i require a 2x6 to 8 pin adaptor? Thanks...

My problem is that after changing RAM frequency in BIOS settings from 667 mhz to 800 mhz, my pc won't boot up anymore. Not far enough for me to change it back to defaults. I also tried taking out the cmos battery, but that didnt work. I'm afraid it could've done some permanent hardware damage.
