I want to mod my cpu by removing the lid and apply better thermal paste like mastergel maker. But the fact is mastergel maker contain nano particle, if i apply it on the chip, will it scratch or damage it ?

Is an 860 watt power supply enough for this build? It supposedly should be but I am skeptical. Thanks.
