Hello and thanks in advance for the help. My 6 year old laptop (with 196mb Ram...) is dated and needs to be replaced. This is my first build and i appreciate your help.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, 3d rendering/modelling, office, internet

Would you do something different, have any tips for me?

If you're not going to use SLI then you can get the UD4P or UD3R versions instead. Whichever suites your needs. Personally, I think the V8 cooler is expensive for what it is, but overall good build.
