My aim is for 144fps at 1440p. if you can make a better build for £1200 but I erally want that case just because I think it looks stunning. If it doesn't already I may mod in a small red LED around the bit at the bottom to look like something that really came out of portal.

If you do have a case to suggest tho feel free I'll look at it.

Not too bad, still wondering what'd be better tho, heck of a deal on the RAM better snatch that up super soon!

Those cases are nice but they're pretty big, besides with the Portal it doesn't matter too much about cable management/color matching so I think it'll work better for me, I am going to get an RGB strip to light up the GPU window tho!

Still not sure on the GPU side of things, I don't know if the extra £70 is worth it for like not much performance gain

As you will be waiting a month on GPU probably by that time the price on CPU will also go down. This can be one of the options for you.
