Good evening once again good people,

I'm a bit rusty building systems and normally just let the pro's on here do it for me but I have been angling for a £1500 build for both myself and my partner (assuming I can get hold of the parts of course) but I wanted to know what peoples thoughts were on this one I just knocked up.

Advice / Support / Opinions more than welcome as I usually tweak my parts list 5-10x before hitting purchase

I know the GPU prices really suck right now and there's not a whole lot we can do about them but I would say give it a couple of months and the market should start correcting itself. This is a decent start but this is what I would suggest on your budget:

Just to be clear, I have no intention of shelling out £900 for a GFX card. The part list is just to gather feedback on the actual parts themselves. If I can obtain a GPU for normal price it will bring it to around £1250 which is what I was aiming at to leave me £250 for a solid 144 monitor.

As one above would i like just ssd as storage, the smallest one for windows,what you want/need is up to you. Just take two sata ssd's for storage and keep the second M.2 slot empty or use two bigger M.2 ssd's and skip the small one , just decide yourself.
Think that 32gb of ram is a good thing for new pc's . The psu as well, for just another 10 pounds a better one.
It's more expensive, but with the upgrades not too much. Didn't look too much at gpu, let that one be yours to decide. Well all is up to you of course. This is just my two cents.

oh, didn't realise this was an old post.
BTW RAM manufacture doesn't matter like at all as long as it's a reputable brand. Only thing you need to look out for is the the ddr4 chips, with Samsung B-die being the best but most expensive and hynix C and micron B being the best budget option. Also it depends on how the manufacturer decides to bin each model and these Crucial Ballistix kits are up there especially for overclocking. Not sure about Corsair but G Skill highly bins their RAM dies for most of their models that's why most people consider G Skill one of the best for RAM overclocking.
