Everything is ultra high end and your budget isn't restricting you, so outside of that PSU there isn't anything that can really be improved on, and you're actually using it for the right purpose as well.

There's nothing you can really improve upon.

Why the external Hard Drive? I travel a helluva lot and am always picking up new music from bands I film, plus I edit video on the fly on other laptops and need portable memory.

Why the sound card? I produce electronic music on Ableton as a hobby, edit 4k video with my BlackMagic and have a decent 5.1 surround setup so want a good return on audio. I've been told off a few good folk that a dedicated soundcard will enhance this process for me.

Why the Bluray drive? This was a mis step from me, I need a rewrite bluray drive to produce gig discs and travel discs.

why the x99, i7 6 core, 32 gb of ram? I use in Premier Pro and After Effects as my work entails use of these programs, need a fast system. Also thinking about storage in RAID format to further increase productivity. I am also an avid gamer, have been since 86' and want to finally do this hobby some justice. This PC I hope to use religiously for the next 5 years, it's not a flippant investment and it's a lot of money for me and I want to do it all with sound investment in mind, its just the choice out there is phenomenal and choosing the correct setup for my needs has been quite a head scratch over these past couple of months. Thanks for your reply, very much appreciated..I will take your advice on the PSU and I will post again through pcpartpicker to make the viewing more user friendly. Thanks again.
