£500 brick! Help!

I have just built my first pc. It loads bios but when I try to boot from windows usb (made with windows creation tool or whatever it’s called) I am getting an error message ‘unmountable boot volume’ the bios are set to defaults. Please help!! Parts in build are:
ryzen 3 2200g
Msi gaming plus motherboard
Corsair vengeance 2x4gb ram 2666mhz

At what stage of installation? As soon as you boot or when you choosing a drive to install to?

If at boot, try making another installer on a different USB

Same thing happened with my clients PC, turned out it was incompatible/faulty ram. I would try with one stick at a time also dont connects any storage devices and just do a plain boot to see if setup screen comes.

its sure an unusual error to get while installing win 10, guess it could be ram, can't say I seen it happen before booting off a USB.

When you see the Windows setup menu, rather than clicking "Install Now", in the bottom left, try clicking "Repair Your Computer"

For me it was bad ram, it just bootlooped on the windows logo screen

It’s as soon as select to boot off the usb. All the parts a new! Even the usb stick XD I’ll try making a new usb installer and let you know!

Did you copy the iso to the flash drive or extract it? Big difference.

When you see the Windows setup menu, rather than clicking "Install Now", in the bottom left, try clicking "Repair Your Computer"

It won't even load the setup menu, I get the error as soon as I chose which drive to boot from

Go into the bios and try to boot from there, selecting the UEFI option for your hard drive.

My hard drive is empty, its brand new

Cleared orignial USB and redownloaded windows onto it. Working fine now. Thank you for your help everyone!

Sorry I meant to say flash drive, not hard drive. I'm glad you found the solution.
