£500 PC Build

My budget for this build is £500 or a little over that. I'm looking to do light video editing, rendering and gaming. It will mainly be used for programming and app development. I already have a GPU. It is an Asus strix 970 which I think will be more than capable. Would normally decide on components myself, but thought I'd ask for help to see ryzen was a good bet or maybe go with coffee lake.
