Hi, im looking on updating my rig as i've managed to save up around £550, feeling like a new gpu(currently got an ASUS 770) and some new ram(8GB ddr3 currently).
Dont feel the need for a new cpu, ive got an i5 4670k @4.3ghz.
Looking for a gpu within the budget that would handle 1440p in the future, and currently play AAA titles with high/max settings at 1080p, been looking at the 980/ti but not sure if its worth the money considering the possible releases next year.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mr Jim

Keep saving unless you go for the 980ti now. Upgrading from a 770 to a 970 is negligible at best, not really worth it in my opinion. The 980ti is the card to own right now. I can overclock mine to 1522mhz on air cooling and maintain a 68c temp long term while maxing GTA V out @ 78 FPS at 1080p graphics.
