£600-£800 Gaming/School laptop

Hey guys currently interested in getting a laptop for currently A level and gaming. I would like to also carry this to uni in the next year. What would be a viable/good purchase for this price bracket?

I would say the acer aspire v3 is good but maybe a bit big. You could go with an asus x series laptop that has good cooling and is light but is more expensive.
