Question <£800 PC Build - opinions needed

I have put together a sub £700 PC build parts list. I plan to game and stream with it, maybe some light editing too. I will probably overclock the cpu and the gpu a little bit which is why I went for a higher watts than needed psu, and I heard the focus is excellent quality. If anyone has anything they would change about it please say and explain why, it will be greatly appreciated.

Depending on the overclock I would change the CPU cooler. If a light overclock, then you could probably stick with the stock cooler. If a heavier overclock I would want something better.

Personally I would want a bit more headroom for the PSU. Likelihood is you'd upgrade the graphics card sooner than the CPU, and may require more power.

So i should spend a little extra and go for the 650w focus, or maybe the evga g3 650?
which cpu cooler would u recommend for less than £40? not going to be going crazy on the overclock but a little extra performance is all i want.

EDIT: I just remembered, i have a corsair h55 aio in my current build, you think thats ok to get a decent oc on the 2600?

£70 more, but if you do only want a 256GB drive, get the Evo Plus 256GB for £70 (saving £32)
I don't agree with needing a bigger PSU because this one is very good quality and you don't come near to 550W with this build.

I dont really need 500gb of nvme storage, but the 2tb hdd upgrade is useful. is the hitachi you have added better than a 2tb seagate barracuda? its a little bit more expensive but is it justified?
the dark rock is also a good addition. thank you for ur ideas.

You would be surprised how quick a 250GB SSD fills up, especially when you want to put some games on it to make them load quicker..

thanks a lot for the input. I currently have a 120gb ssd in my pc, normal sata 3 interface (not m.2) and it still has around 40gb left on it. i only use it for the os and main softwares and game launchers, i think with a 7200rpm hdd with the games on it i wouldnt mind a little slower loading times. i might put maybe 1 game i really like on the ssd but thats about it.

I would trust the Hardware Unboxed results a bit more. From that the Hyper 212 will be fine. The H55 would probably be okay, but personally a bit wary as AIO coolers have more points of failure, and a typical lifespan of about 5 years.

As it is the build is fine. With a higher powered PSU it would allow a bit of room for upgrades if required.

Get the Evo Plus 250GB, its the same price as the Evo but better

looking at the samsung and amazon product page, it shows the read speeds are the same but the write speeds on the evo plus are slightly faster, not exactly double and probably wont notice the difference in real time but i will make the change since its a more for the same price anyway. thanks for the heads up

You could use it if it has AM4 brackets, however it may be closer to the end of its pump life.
Id suggest either a 2600x with stock cooler or 2600 with a beefy air cooler.

bro the 970 evo is a new release, apparently released this year january.

nevertheless, both are new drives, with little difference in performance. we can leave it at that. i went with ur option of 970 plus anyway
