¿¿¿Voodoo3 & Half-Life???

I am the owner of a Voodoo 3 2000 and I have found that there is no way to play Half-Life in OpenGL mode using the 3Dfx MiniGL after installing the 1.1.0.1 and 1.1.0.4 patches. I have tried every single thing, installing another versions of the 3dfx drivers and MiniGL, installing the update and complete versions of the patches, reinstalling half-life, reinstalling windows, and there's no improvement. It worked fine with the original version 1.0. Thanks for answering. I know that I maybe shouldn't have posted this here but I that's the only way to find a solution because both Sierra and 3Dfx have not answered my emails about the problem.

Have you tried the Direct3D mode instead?

In Direct3D or Default OpenGL I get about 40 fps in every resolution, as I have a Pentium 225 MMX, but with the 3dfx Mini GL Driver I got about 90 fps, and I cannot play Counter-Strike with 40 fps. Thanks anyway.

I play with an average of 30fps.

I had the same problem running Half-Life w/ my Voodoo3 3000 until I downloaded WickedGL and ran. This should alwo you to use the 3dfx MiniGL. Hope this helps
