hi guys computer noob here pls help !!
i have a tc-895-ua92 and i just installed a gtx 1650 (i am liable to making mistakes to the installation since im pretty dumb so please take that into account). i was pretty sure i did it right cause it did little snapping noise until i turned it on and it said please power down and connect all pcie cables. however, i was under the impression that this gpu didnt NEED any extra cables and just ran off the motherboard, since my pc doesnt have any extra cables available. please help!

A few options available new that don't require supplemental power:

RX6400 will not run its best due to the 4x PCIe connection. RX550 is technically no longer supported, but still capable of running light gaming loads. GT1030 is barely a video card, but again, can do light gaming. Intel A380 (Specifically the Sparkle, the others require power) is a risky GPU, not all games work with it, particularly older ones) The low power GTX1650 are sought after and command higher prices.

The latest 3050 6GB is also an option, but extremely expensive.

It is, but as pointed out it only has a PCIe 4.0 4x interface. So in your 10th gen Intel system it will only run at PCIe 3.0, so the equivalent of PCIe 4.0 2x. Which is quite small for a GPU, with only 4GB of VRAM it is likely to have issues when you run a game that needs to constantly shuffle information in and out of the GPU memory.
